No New Posts The Mansion

A very large, two-story building where a very high class pack of humans once lived. The door is still missing, but everything inside isn't too terribly damaged. The door is still missing from the doorway, but this only makes getting side allt he more easier. The stairway is a bit creaky, but otherwise in good shape The bottom floor consists of what used to be a large kitchen, dining room, and family gathering room as well as what seems to have once been a bathroom. Climb the stairway, and to the left, there are three empty rooms. To the right, there is what used to be the master bedroom, along with what was once a bathroom attached to it as well. The floors all throughout the house are covered in old, aged grey carpeting. No doubt a very comfortable place for a dog or two.

No New Posts Abandoned Town

A place humans once called their home. No one is really certain what happened to the humans, and why they left. All that is truly known is that this place has not been inhabitted by them for a long, long time. The small concrete, log, and brick homes show signs of no maintanance. Doors are missing from doorways, and there are holes in the walls and ceiling. And it appears that, near the center of this very small town that once housed no more than 30 to 50 families, there is a larger building that seems to be what was once a food market, though there is undoubtedly nothing remaining inside... But this place, it's perfect for a pack of dogs, wouldn't you say so?

No New Posts Abandoned School

A broken down school building. A place with a very large number of rooms. There are still some desks left, but they have collected a lot of cobwebs, dust, and mold. Most all the windows are broken and shattered, though there are a few windows that are still in one piece, though they are hard to see through due to the dust and mold that has collected on them. There are some holes in the ceiling, as there are with most all buildings in this small town. But all the same, it provides a lot of space for a large pack of dogs, and a dry place to sleep.

No New Posts The Old Junkyard

Just to the West of the Abandoned Town, rests what was clearly the place where the humans dumped their garbage and their waste. The huge mound still remains, crawling with all sorts of bugs as well as mice rats, and the occasional raccoon. There are a few old, broken down cars and trucks, as well as some large trashcans that the humans once used to transport thier waste. It's not the most luxurious place to call home, but with the large rats and raccoons running around, no doubt there's plenty of prey to provide full bellies for a decent sized pack of dogs.

No New Posts Old Factory

A very large building that rests just on the outskirts of the small town. There are parts of the walls that are missing as well as the ceiling, but surprisingly most all the windows are still in place, though they're missing a few pieces here and there. Inside there are random items left behind by the humans. One might find a shoe, a brick, or perhaps some dirty, wet newspapers. The floor is also littered with dirt and wood shavings. There's a lot of space, though the biggest thing one could find inside would be a mouse, though just outside there's a small wood that should hold bigger prey.

No New Posts Abandoned Barn

Out a mile or so away from the Old Factory on the outskirts of the small abandoned town, there is 5 or so acres of farmland sctretching out towards the East. The barn is definitely not in the best of shape. There are big gaping holes in the rook, exposing the hay loft on the second floor. There is still a lot of hay, though some of it is wet and soggy from the rain. There are a few stables on the floor level, and the door to the underground storage is missing, so there's an underground shelter as well. No doubt there is plenty of prey here and in the fields, and plenty of shelter and space for a large pack of dogs.

No New Posts Large Cave

Halfway up a large mountain to the South of the Mainlands, there rests a very large cave. It goes into the ground, like a wolf's den made of stone. And from there a small river flows outward and down towards Moonlit Lake... It takes a good few minutes to reach the very end of the cave, but it is most definitely worth it. It opens up into a large cavern, and there, one can see a waterfall about 10 feet in height feeding the small river. And in the roof of the cave, there's a hole about 5 feet in diameter, allowing both sun and moonlight to shine down and into the cavern. There is definitely plenty of room for a good sized pack of wolves in this cave, not to mention a good amount of prey that can be found along the moutainside.

No New Posts Woodlands

Just to the East of the Large Cave about a mile or two away, one stumbles upon a woodland. the underbrush is rather thick, but definitely not lacking in small prey like mice and voles. There's a beautiful variety of flowers growing beneath these oak trees as well. And so the air about this place is rather sweet and calming. Deer and elk take a great liking to this place, and there's a good sized den not too far towards the heart of the woodlands. A pack of wolves could easily thrive here.

No New Posts Lake Crescent

To the North of the moutainside, Northwest and about 3 or 4 miles from the Large Cave, lies Lake Crescent. It is here that the river from the Large Cave flows into it, keeping it full during the summertime. The lake is a good 15 miles in diamiter, and about 10 miles all the way around, touches practically each and every border of the wolf territories. The water here is crisp and pure, and nearly sweet, yet not quite. The grass is always green here, and there are a few trees growing just a few feet from the rocky shore, as if they know there is no water around for many miles as clean and pure as Lake Cresent.

No New Posts Empty Cabin

On the Northern shore of Lake Cresent, perhaps 2 or so miles inland, rests an abandoned cabin. All the windows have been shattered, and the roof seems to be getting ready to collape into the small structure. But any with a good eye could see that it still has a good many more years before it does, which only makes it more suiteable for a pack of wolves. The vegetation around here is fairly dense, meaning that there is most likely a large abundance in small prey. There's a small stream flowing towards the lake, which provides a year-round water source and keeps the grass and other vegetation in good health. A nice, cozy little place to call home, no?

3 miles West of Lake Cresent, is a small ruin. No one can truly be certain how long this place has been standing, perhaps for thousands of generations for both animal and human. But as far as any would be concerned, it is in fact vacant, save for the mice, squirrels, and other small wildlife. The vegetation is seemingly attempting to try and conquer this structure, though it will still be many more generations before it can do such a thing. There is no ceiling here, but there should be a nice pile of rubble and moist dirt that would easily be turned into a rather cozy den, no? There is plenty of small prey, a few deer here and there, and a very beautiful scenery with plenty of space, and a stream hardly a mile away. A very suiteable place to make settlement.

No New Posts The Clearing

A couple miles North of the small ruins, lies a clearing. it is protected by thick brush and a good number of trees. Inside the clearing, a small stream runs along the Easter side, babbling rather quietly. Blackberry bushes are another thing that helps protect the clearing from any threats, and making it less appealing than most places, seeing as one would have to push past thorny bushes and slightly rised tree roots as its defenses. The grasses within the clearing are tall enough to hide a full grown wolf, which could most definitely help in hiding pups as well as a den entrance. The trees and thick bushes (aside from the blackberry bushes) are the only things that provide shelter from rain, though they are actually rather effective in keeping a pack dry and warm.

No New Posts Concealed Meadow

To the West of Moonlit Lake a few miels or so, there is known to be a meadow. But this meadow is encircled heavily with thick bushes as well as blackberry and various other thorn bushes. And there are also various types of trees helping keep this meadow hidden away from unwanted travellers. But there is in fact small tunnels made through the thick and thortny vegetation, though only big enough for, well, a fox. Once in the meadow, one sees various beautiful flowers. But what is more interesting is the two abandoned building that appear to have once been cottages or cabins. But either way, they are now vacant, left to provide shelter for the local meadow residents. A small creek babbles just behind the second building, close to the Eastern border of the meadow.

No New Posts The Thick Forest

Sharing a border with the Concealed Meadow, is the Thick Forest. The trees herehave been alive and well for many, many decades, as they are large and still strong, yet covered in moss and various other vegetation. There are fallen trees here and there, showing those that could not make it as long as others. But these fallen logs have provided a home for a wide variety of small wildlife, as have the very trees themselves providing homes for a large number of songbirds. Deer are in a large yet stable number, as are rabbits, mice, and many other smaller creatures. A river runs silently through the forest, fortelling of a waterfall, somwhere in the Order of the Den territories... This place is no doubt beautiful as well as full of life.

No New Posts The Valley

After a trek through the thick forest, one will arrive on the outskirts of the other side, and stand at the border where the Thick Forest shares with a valley. It is here where one stands atop a large hill that slopes downward, and into the small valley below. The river from the Thick Forest seems to come from the valley, as the peacefully flowing river widens here, and replaces its sand and pebble banks with pebbles and grasses. This part of the river runs along the border to the East, only to fall down into the valley's heart, and continue past the horizon's point, originating from another place, though seemingly flowing through all the lands in the Order of the Den. The land here is simple, with very few flowers, and tall grass. There are very few trees in thid small valley, but there are still a couple scattered here and there, as well as bushes, and perhaps a nice mound waiting to be turned into a den. Food and water is always in good supply, no matter the time of year, making this place a simple yet beautiful place to call home.

No New Posts The Hidden Ravine

To the South of the Valley, hidden away in the far distance, only appearing to be yet another dip into the earth, stands a deep ravine. The trees here don't grow too closely, making it easy to maneuver about the land here, yet they are clustered close enough to provide shelter and protection from outsiders that might be unwelcomed. The river shrinks to a small stream that winds and bends through this beautiful place. Here, the grass is still tall, but are beautifully decorated with various types of white flowers. The grass here is very green, perhaps one of the reasons why deer are in large numbers, though they take to the outskirts of this place to better ensure a safe escape into the vast expanse of valley if a threat were to arise. Birds and other small creatures hide in the trees nad in the many bushes, singing and going about their merry way. Life here is indeed beautiful, but only the local residents could truly travel throughout this land without fear of getting lost, for in the morning, the morning fog is very thick, and clouds the senses, making it difficult for strangers to travel here, but never hindering the navigational skills of those who call this land theirs.

No New Posts Secret Falls

Deep within the lands belonging to the Order of the Den, the source of the great river that travels through almost every land hides away from strangers to the Order of the Den. The trees from the Hidden Ravine grow thicker and taller, as well as closer together, creating yet another forest, though much younger the the Thick Forest, the trees here have only ever seen several generations. But it is here that they enshroud and protect Secret Falls. This waterfall is 30 feet in height, feeding a small pool, which in turn changes into a small river, marking the beginnings of the great river. Many creatures come here in search for its interestingly sweet waters, giving this land much life and glory. And there is in fact a hidden trail behind the waterfall. If one follows the very narrow trail to the side of the waterfall for a time, it will soon open into a very large cavern with its own pool of water, as well as some grass and moss. And in the walls of this cavern diamonds sparkle and shine every time the sun's dying rays shine through the waterfall, and into this tunnel. The sight is breath-taking, but only ever seen by those who reside here in Secret Falls.

No New Posts The Temple

Not many travel this deep into the lands, but there is in fact yet another land that is known to be home to many creatures. In the very depths of the same forest that conceals Secret Falls, about 5 miles South of the waterfall, another border is met. But from the border, it looks to be nothing more than fairly dense forest, with thick underbrush and thorny bushes. The thorns themselves tend to pursuade the unknowing away, but that who live here have known better for some time. Many more miles into this forest, one will come across a temple. But due to the missing stones, growing vines, and various other vegetation that attempt to conquer this ancient structure, any can tell it has been vacant for perhaps overo 1,000 years. It would even seem that no human has ever discovered it, everything left in place and at peace. Walk through the large entrance, and one will thne be standing in what appeared to be some sort of courtyard, but who can truly say now? At the heart of this area, rests a fountain, the water here is no good, though... But behind the fountain, rests the temple itself, standing tall and strong. The entrance has a door that has been closed for a long while, vines and moss making settlement upon it. But in the bottom right-hand corner, a whole just big enough for a large fox to enter through. And inside, a small waterfall feeds a small pool of water that seems to never overflow, perhaps vanishing beneath the temple's cobblestone floor... But eithe way, this water is fresh, and forever flowing... Around this ancient place, life continues on, whilst the temple itself remains abandoned..... Or once was, though no longer is such a thing the truth...

To the East of Lake Cresent, sharing a major portion of land borders with the Order of the Pack, rises Mt. Evergreen from the earth's crust. A few miles East of Mt. Evergreen, at the edge of the pine tree that gave the mountain it's name, there's a vast, open expanse of land. The grasses here stretch skyward at a height of 2 feet, providing many hiding places for small animals like rabbits, mice, and pheasants, and various other marshland creatures. And of course, seeing as it is in fact a marsh, there is no doubt plenty of water for a large number of animals here. No New Posts The Desert

Miles past the marshlands, is a desert. Miles and miles of sand, dried and thorny shrubs, with no water and hardly any prey. One could get lost and perish if they do not have the ability to survive and thrive in harsh climates. Most everything here looks the same, no matter how much farther into this desert you travel. The heat is a dangerous thing, making the sun most all's worst enemy here in this harsh place. There are few creatures out during the peak of the day, but come nightfall and the first light of the day, lizards, snakes, scorpions, and roadrunners will come out from their hidden shelters in search for water and food. The thorny shrubs, though as uncomfortable as they might seem, are the most comfortable shelter one can find here, unless one happens upon one of the rare rock formations, and perhaps the one cave that can be found here in the desert... But somwhere, hiding deceivingly at the bottom of the many sand hills, is a river. The source of it is a wonder to those unfamiliar to this place, but the natices know what provides for them the wondrous and precious gift of water. It will definitely take cunning, strength and the will to survive. But those who do are most certainly able to survive most anything.

Every place has its diamond in the rough, does it not? Every place has its hidden treasures and unique beauties. And to the relief of the creatures that dare call the desert its home, there is in fact a water source to relieve the creatures here of the hardest burden of finding water. Just at the border of the main desert land, is an oasis. The vegetation is strill rough, but perhaps a tad bit greener. And it is from this oasis, that the small river that flows through the main desert lands is fed from here, providing life sustainance for those who are unable to reach this hidden jewel. The large rock formation just a mile or so Northeast from this body of water has several caves and caverns, providing shade and sanctuary from the blistering sun. But all the same, food is still hard to come by, though perhaps slightly better than in the desert. But all the same, it takes a skilled surviver to call this place home.

Finally, after many miles of sand and thorny shrub, one finds a canyon. Resting at the bottom, there is sure to be a river that allows he vegetation below to grow green, despite the warmth that carries over from the desert and the oasis. But here, one finds a more moderate climate. There is plenty of vegetation for small prey to be hiding, not to mention the vegetation here is bound to attract desert deer and roadrunners as well. There are many cracks and breaks in the walls of the canyon, offering an abundance in shade and shelter from what little storms would bring the rains down upon this still dry place. There are many trails that lead downward as well as upward, making this place a bit of a maze, tough the chances of being unable to survive are much lower than the odds of that in the desert.

There are few trees in this land, but plenty of thick bushes to provide a nice shelter from the weather. And it is here that one could get the best veiw of the sunset. The golden shore is beautiful, and the vast expanse of sea-green water is breath-taking. To the East, there is a cave for shelter. But as far as food goes here, one must make the best of things. 3 or so miles in a small trail located East of the Trinity Bay shoreline, is a cavern. Here, there is plenty of vegetation to provide cover for small creatures, as well as aiding in concealing the cavern entrance from the untrained eye. The trail into the cavern is relatively tight, but not too much so that a full grown male wolf couldn't fit. A moment or two of travelling in pitch darkness, and the trail soon opens into a very wide, very large cavern. With a few holes in the ceiling of the cavern, there is enough light to allow moss and a little grass grow here. This place is very spacious, providing plenty of space for a pack of wolves or perhaps a large group of foxes. And with a fresh pool of water just outside the entrance, this land, with its forest and its cavern, makes for a suiteable home.
